Residence, Connecticut. 1997 – 2004

The project is a 5,000 SF extension placed in front of an existing house of about the same size. The first floor consists of a central Main Hall a Dining Room and a Library. Each room is joined to a room in the existing house of similar function; the Dining room to the existing kitchen; the Main Hall to the existing Stair Hall; the Library to the existing Living Room. The second floor contains central Gallery, joined to the existing Stair Hall; and two new Bedroom suites. There is also an Attic and roof decks. The house is wood frame construction with stucco exterior finish and painted wood trim. The Attic exterior is wood shingle.
